This qualification provides a trade outcome in solid plastering for residential and commercial work. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as the specialist field of work, solid plastering. Solid plasterers apply plaster, cement and other mixtures to walls to create smooth or decorative finishes to interior walls and to render to exterior walls.

To be awarded the CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering, students must successfully complete 20 units of competency (15 core and 5 electives).

A minimum of 20 contact hours per week of study/tuition have been scheduled by the Pioneer College to ensure students meet their student study Visa conditions.
The course duration may vary for students who have been granted Credit Transfer (CT) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) towards this course

Students may apply for RPL or CT prior to enrolment or at any time during their studies if they have an existing competency or prior learning in any of the units offered in this course.

Note: As each unit is delivered as a stand-alone unit, students who do not successfully achieve competency in all 20 required units for this qualification will not be awarded the full qualification. However, students who successfully achieve competency in some units of this qualification will be issued a Statement of Attainment for those individual units.
